The Emilia Romagna region is located in the North of Italy. Bologna, its main city, lays at 150 km southwest of Venice and at 100 km northeast of Florence. Leaving art aside, this region is no doubt the heartland of Italian cuisine: home of Parma Ham, Parmiggiano Reggiano, Culatello, Mortadella, Balsamic Vinegar, Black Truffle, excellent wines and some well known varieties of hand made Pasta such as tagliatelle, tortellini, strozzapreti, lasagne, ravioli products.
