On this journey along the old Roman road Via Emilia, there are 12 18-hole golf courses which are all situated in places that offer marvels of art, nature, history and food in hospital surroundings full of welcoming people. Apart from being full of important art cities, ancient villages, castles, and luxurious abodes, it is also known as the "land of motors" ( Ferrari, Ducati, Lamborghini, Maserati, Bugatti), the "land of flavours" ( Parmigiano Reggiano - parmesean cheese, Prosciutto di Parma - ham from Parma, Aceto Balsamico Tradizionale di Modena - traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena), the "land of artists" both historical and contemporary (musicians including Verdi, Toscanini, Pavarotti, Muti, Abbado; film greats including Fellini, Antognoni, Bertolucci; artists including Morandi and Guido Reni in addition to the writer Umberto Eco). Dinner at a typical trattoria in Parma. Return to the hotel. DAY 3 - Monday Breakfast. Castell’Arquato Golf Club. Lunch at the Club House restaurant. Afternoon visit to local winery with a guided visit and wine tasting. Dinner at a restaurant in the old town centre of Castell’Arquato. Return to the hotel. DAY 4 - Tuesday Breakfast. Salsomaggiore Golf & Country Club. Lunch at the Club House restaurant. Afternoon visit to Busseto and sites famous for Verdi. Afterwards the “symphony of flavours” continues to Zibello, where the Culatello (the most precious part of the ham) is produced. There will be a tasting and all will learn about its history and have a glass of typical local wine. Dinner at the elegant restaurant of the farm. Return to the hotel. DAY 5 - Wednesday Breakfast and check-out. La Rocca Golf Club. Lunch at the Club House restaurant and check-in at the hotel located near Parma. Relaxing afternoon by the pool with Turkish bath and sauna. Dinner in a restaurant inside a castle village. Return to the hotel. DAY 6 - Thursday Day off. (Possibility of shopping at the Parma market). Afternoon spa treatment with access to the pool, sauna and Turkish bath. Dinner at the hotel restaurant. DAY 7 - Friday Breakfast. Modena Golf & Country Club. Lunch at the Club House restaurant. Afternoon visit to the Ferari musuem. Visit to a vinegar producer for a tasting of traditional balsamic vinegar from Modena. Dinner at a restaurant in the old town centre of Modena. Return to the hotel.
